The filet was so amazing! My boyfriend had the shrimp and grits. Perfect size and very good. the s'mores dessert was so incredibly good. I highly recommend it. The view of the beach was amazing.
First time dining here. Really loved the view and the short rib grilled cheese was so yummy. My husband had the lobster carbonara and my friend had the filet. Both were very happy with their dinner. Would return.
First off, I have never written a review about a restaurant that I have dined in—-until now!! Our server J.D. was phenomenal!! She asked all of the right questions about our food preferences and gave detailed explanations about all of the items. I love chicken wings and when she noticed that I wasn’t eating the accompanying sauce she brought a different one to try. Greg the manager came to the table to inquire how everything was. Had a great time at the Gastropub on Saturday Night . It’s a totally different crowd from the final days of the Chelsea Hotel. The mature and upscale diners have returned. I assume the Tropicana is trying to avoid the Chelsea Tower and its amenities from being taken over by the 20 year old party animal crowd. Views are great and service by are waitress JD was terrific. Hey back again at one of my fabulous -friendly-favorite- Fabio (the server) restaurants. The Chelsea 5 Gastropub is a wonderful place to dine. My wife and I eat there weekly and enjoy our meals everytime. My wife had a salad with grilled shrimp (dressing is awesome). I enjoyed the freshest turkey burger I've ever eaten with all the fixings and fries. I started with the house salad and dressing on the side. I finished my meal with great coffee. We have dined at almost every restaurant in Atlantic City through the years...our advice would be to “run” not walk to this hidden gem of culinary brilliance. From the moment you enter you will be impressed by so many things, it is difficult to describe in my review. The food is beyond description...eclectic and scrumptious. The Truffle fries with Braised short ribs is over the moon!!
