Disappointing. Three beers listed on the menu were not available. White wine suggested by the waiter was unavailable. When we then ordered the one chardonnay on the menu, the waiter came back to say it was not chilled. After 20 minutes, he brought it and opened it, but it really still wasn't the right temperature. Food was good, but we won't be going back.

We were hosting our National Alumni President as the new officers; the waitress was not attentive without prompting. The happy hour was not exciting the restaurant was relatively empty/dry; I was surprised and expected better!

Food is good but over priced. Appetizers the same price as entrees?? Service was not good and automatic tip for only 3 people is BS.

The grits seemed to be warmed up from yesterday. English muffins were cold and no butter or jam til we requested. The Hollandaise sauce had no flavor. Coffee was brought with no cream. Disappointing.

We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday. When I walked in the greeter and the manager were very friendly but the server and service was horrible. There was lipstick on my friends glass, it took a very long time to clean off the table from the appetizers, we had to flag the waiter down several times for either water, or additional items. It pains me to write this review because I have been to Chocolat years ago and enjoyed it. The food quality has gone down considerably. The fried chicken appeared to be from frozen drumettes and was obviously not fresh. The cheddar grits were gummy and too cheesy. We were a party of four and no one finished their meal. I dined in your restaurant back in May. The service was deplorable. Considering my wife who frequents your restaurant with her friends suggested I patronize your establishment with my friends, I was extremely disappointed. It took 30 minutes to place our order and your restaurant was far from crowded. The waiter seemed lost and our meals came cold and individually 10-15 mins apart. It was subpar. It was packed and tables are very close to one another so much so that your basically eating family style with strangers. We opted to sit at the bar, it then got empty our food didn’t come so we asked to move to a table now. Hostess said there was nothing that could be done because we ordered our food that didn’t come until 3 and we arrived at 2:20. So that was strike one. I ordered 1 Mac n Cheese... 1 Jerk chicken and rice with peas and maduros...1 red velvet slice of cake...1 coke and 1 ice tea sweetened...that was $69.41 and the mac n cheese was bland...the jerk chicken was beyond spicy and rice with peas was bland...the only positive was our waitress...overall...it wasn't worth the price.
