I made a 9:30pm reservation on Saturday night looking to have a nice dinner and hang out. Upon arrival the hostess had an attitude didn't greet us and just asked for the reservation name. She comes back with menus gestures for us to follow her. She put the menus down and walked away. Server was great, took our drink and app order. Manager came over to ensure service was timely. The hostess was welcoming and very helpful. When it took my waitress a while to get to me the hostess took my order. I want to thank her for that.
We had a 2pm reservation and at 2:50 our food still had not arrived. I walked out.
I sat at the bar for 11 minutes waiting for my date to arrive. Nobody came to take a drink order even though the bar was only about 1/3 full. At dinner, we tried to order several items, but were told they had sold out. The food we were able to get was good. The waitress seemed completely overwhelmed, and just not up to speed that night. After delivering the food, she did not return until she brought the bill. It was a very warm night, and the restaurant was too warm and humid. Not a good experience.
Had a very bad experience @this restaurant, it was my 8th year wedding anniversary and my wife and I were looking forward to eating here. Our reservation was for 830p,we were seated @ 815p,had appetizers at 830p and ordered our main course at the same time. We sat until 930p with no food or waitress, finally after getting her attention, she came over filled our water and said our food was coming,at 945p still no food, we asked for our check so the manager came and said your food is coming. Overall ok experience
Even though I called to confirm my reservation when I arrived it could not be found. After being seated, we were ignored for 15 min!!! No one even said hello. I had to get up and request to be taken care of (it was a slow Monday night) I ordered a Manhattan, it was waaaay too strong (I didn't even bother sending it back). The appetizers were good (ordered lobster mac and cheese, and shrimp empanadas). The entrees were decent as well. Not a bad spot just terrible service on a slow Monday. Made no sense.
Food was heavy on the salt and when the manager informed, his only comment was to let the kitchen know. Not what I would expect a manager to say, but I will not be returning and would not recommend.
I found the ambiance to be AMAZING but what I didn't so much care for was the service. I found myself along with my friends having to run down our waitress for the smallest things such as: a glass of fresh water & utensils. We (as a group) felt like we had to keep flagging our waitress down to grab her attention because she was in the mist of talking in a group at the bar.
