We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday. When I walked in the greeter and the manager were very friendly but the server and service was horrible. There was lipstick on my friends glass, it took a very long time to clean off the table from the appetizers, we had to flag the waiter down several times for either water, or additional items. It pains me to write this review because I have been to Chocolat years ago and enjoyed it. The food quality has gone down considerably. The fried chicken appeared to be from frozen drumettes and was obviously not fresh. The cheddar grits were gummy and too cheesy. We were a party of four and no one finished their meal. I dined in your restaurant back in May. The service was deplorable. Considering my wife who frequents your restaurant with her friends suggested I patronize your establishment with my friends, I was extremely disappointed. It took 30 minutes to place our order and your restaurant was far from crowded. The waiter seemed lost and our meals came cold and individually 10-15 mins apart. It was subpar. It was packed and tables are very close to one another so much so that your basically eating family style with strangers. We opted to sit at the bar, it then got empty our food didn’t come so we asked to move to a table now. Hostess said there was nothing that could be done because we ordered our food that didn’t come until 3 and we arrived at 2:20. So that was strike one. I ordered 1 Mac n Cheese... 1 Jerk chicken and rice with peas and maduros...1 red velvet slice of cake...1 coke and 1 ice tea sweetened...that was $69.41 and the mac n cheese was bland...the jerk chicken was beyond spicy and rice with peas was bland...the only positive was our waitress...overall...it wasn't worth the price. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Chicken was dry and cold. Red velvet pancakes were small I asked for butter it never came I had a little syrup asked for that......it came 25 minutes later. I asked for the manager and she brought a few pieces of hot chicken but had NO seasoning and this was $24. The waiter was the worst. There were only 6 people in restaurant when I arrived So it was not busy and I had a reservation!
We dud not get our 1000 points. Two if our guests were not served and had to leave early
I had reservations for 5 wasnt seated until 5:45 n waited for food until 6:30 smh wait was extremely too long
The food was okay for a brunch. What I didn't like was being rushed after only sitting for 1hr and 30min me and my sister came to sit eat and chat a bit but we was rushed. They even asked us to go sit by the door to finish our drinks . Another person came over and started wiping the table while we were still sitting. They were so rude . I would never come here again or recommend this place.
