Had a very bad experience @this restaurant, it was my 8th year wedding anniversary and my wife and I were looking forward to eating here. Our reservation was for 830p,we were seated @ 815p,had appetizers at 830p and ordered our main course at the same time. We sat until 930p with no food or waitress, finally after getting her attention, she came over filled our water and said our food was coming,at 945p still no food, we asked for our check so the manager came and said your food is coming. Overall ok experience
Even though I called to confirm my reservation when I arrived it could not be found. After being seated, we were ignored for 15 min!!! No one even said hello. I had to get up and request to be taken care of (it was a slow Monday night) I ordered a Manhattan, it was waaaay too strong (I didn't even bother sending it back). The appetizers were good (ordered lobster mac and cheese, and shrimp empanadas). The entrees were decent as well. Not a bad spot just terrible service on a slow Monday. Made no sense.
Food was heavy on the salt and when the manager informed, his only comment was to let the kitchen know. Not what I would expect a manager to say, but I will not be returning and would not recommend.
I found the ambiance to be AMAZING but what I didn't so much care for was the service. I found myself along with my friends having to run down our waitress for the smallest things such as: a glass of fresh water & utensils. We (as a group) felt like we had to keep flagging our waitress down to grab her attention because she was in the mist of talking in a group at the bar. We were the only ones there arrived at 1:00 for lunch on a Wednesday. The food took FOREVER, and waitress hardly checked back w/ us. They stood at the cashier stand and could clearly see we were waiting, I think the kitchen had only one burner and a toaster oven. No idea why it took one hour for appetizers. Took about 20 minutes for iced tea and cokes. Waitress should have given free refills or appeared more caring or offered bread. The food is good and the restaurant is very beautiful. I appreciate that the staff is diverse as well. Big problems were that once we were seated (and we had to wait like 10 minutes even though we made reservations) and they took our order it took over an hour and a half for the food to come. Food ehhh, way overpriced for what you get. Loud music with inappropriate lyrics, felt like I was in a club instead of out to lunch.
