The restaurant was extremely loud and the service was very slow. The food was ok. I came I saw I will not return or recommend this restaurant
We were the only ones there arrived at 1:00 for lunch on a Wednesday. The food took FOREVER, and waitress hardly checked back w/ us. They stood at the cashier stand and could clearly see we were waiting, I think the kitchen had only one burner and a toaster oven. No idea why it took one hour for appetizers. Took about 20 minutes for iced tea and cokes. Waitress should have given free refills or appeared more caring or offered bread. The food is good and the restaurant is very beautiful. I appreciate that the staff is diverse as well. Big problems were that once we were seated (and we had to wait like 10 minutes even though we made reservations) and they took our order it took over an hour and a half for the food to come. We had to find the manager to tell him that we had been waiting so long and magically about 10 minutes after we spoke with him our food came out piping hot (which leads me to believe the kitchen forgot about the order once the waitress ... read more
Food ehhh, way overpriced for what you get. Loud music with inappropriate lyrics, felt like I was in a club instead of out to lunch.
I waited over an hour for my food and I wasn't even served bread for during my wait. The service was good but there should definitely be something served during the wait.
Worst service ever. When we inquiried about why our food took an hour to come out, the response from the waiter and manager was lackluster. Don't waste your time coming to this restaurant because they will waste yours.
Went here last minute and reserved a table. When we got there we were greeted at the door but the person said she would check on somethinn and never came back. After standing there for about 10 mins, someone else came and seated us. We ordered appetizers the bacon bac and cheese and the lobster mac and cheese which were terrible. They were very dry and had no flavor. Very rowdy and crowded and the food was not good enough for me to return.
Longest wait when we had a reservation. Food was okay though.
My friends and I decided to host our book club at Chocolat Restaurant Lounge this past Sunday after hearing about this place from others. We were greeted and seated within 5 min of our reservation time. The waitress was nice, greeted us and placed orders for drinks right away. Shortly after we placed our order for our meals.
