These people are scammers !!! They as much as stole my number ! They claimed to be a ******* representative!!!! Theyre horrible lying company .. and when called out on their lies they still think you should pay them after 2 months of trying to get my number back to ******* . Was told by ******* I was not the only one lied to and stole from!!!! Class action lawsuit is what needs done

Clear rate is the worst they lie the are scammers etc I am moving forward with my lawsuit I have with them because they took my elderly parents money never turn phone service on call lied they were turning it on 2 to 3 days here's its a month going on 2 they target older people they never answer the phone customer service is the worst something needs to be and I'm going to make an example out of them for doing people like this .

We are a business customer who has gone with out service for 7 days now. Were a golf course and everyone calls first to make a tee time to golf so we have had NO business for a week now. We called in to let clear rate know their phone pedestal is destroyed and has been for 8 years and every time it rains we get water in the line. The tech comes out and dries the line and gets the dial tone and just leaves, he doesn't repair the pedestal or even attempt to put a bag over the pedestal so every rain here we go again, call again... read more

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I don't know how they got a hold of our account but they claim they had authorization from a person that is not authorized to make such changes. She has denied that she authorized anything. So they are sending me this "recording" of her authorizing the switch within 24 hours authorizing the switch. I'm curious to see what it says He asked me if I wanted to take care of the bill. Then he said that they were going to shut off our phones. TOTAL SCAM.

Very poor service. Since April, 2019, Clear Rate Communications has been billing me for telephone service THEY HAVE NOT SUPPLIED. Because of medical issues, I had a third party supporting my financial obligations and he paid every bill I received. In March of this year (2024) I discovered the issue and contacted Clear Rate Communications giving the customer service representative the order number (C05715211) ******** Telecommunications and Technology sent them to cease providing telephone services. I just received a call today from ******** supposedly from Century Link and was told Century Link was making a rate "carrier" change from USBI to ClearRate for their small business accounts (<12 lines) who still used copper wiring as they have lost so many small accounts and do not want to lose more. She said USBI handles rates for their corporate accounts. She said going to ClearRate would reduce our bill to $55/line which would never change. Received Notice from Clear Rate welcoming our business to their service. Called ******* and they did indeed switch me from *******. This is a total SCAM. They claim someone responded YES to 3 questions about a switch. This never happened. Switched back to ******* and now my bill went up as the plan I had for over 10 years is no longer available.I can't leave this review unless I give at least 1 Star...they should have negative stars as 1 is too much for this SCAM company!STAY AWAY FROM CLEAR RATE!!!!

This business is a complete scam, they wont let you hear your recording, they switched our account from Century Link stating they were with Century Link even though they are in fact there own business, they stated we would get a discount on our current rates by 45 dollars when in fact the price increased by 4x the Century link price. Then they charged ****** per line to get the service canceled, and we could not even cancel until all our business numbers got ported back to Century link.
