So shoutout to **** for lying to me about our movers bringing our stuff directly to our destination! The only reason I booked with them is because **** promised that they are a company that bring our belongings directly to the final destination and they dont make several stops like other companies. I called to schedule with pods and somehow ended up talking to this business and I felt very pressured and rushed to list every single item that I would be transporting. I remembered a few things that needed to go and I ask about those items and they wanted to increase the price (of course) so I canceled and he was very rude to me and said that he would refund my card for the deposit and that my business was not wanted

Coastal Moving Service added additional charge was added before the movers would unload the van. The additional charge was never discussed prior to delivery. They are a rip off; plain and simple. I was given an initial quote months prior to my move that seemed very fair. Several days prior to the move, I received a call to finalize loose ends. At that time the price went up slightly which seemed fair based on the changes. The day I actually moved the priced more than doubled! How could the estimate be so far off. Don't use this company.

This was my fourth move and by far the worst experience of them all. I was contacted by a gentlemen after sending an inquiry and he was a fantastic salesman. He sold me on the company being family owned, how they do the route I was doing all the time (Boston to ***************) and could give a great deal. I sent a extremely detailed inventory list in which we reviewed in depth. This experience with this company was awful. They trick you with an extremely low quote at the beginning. The sales department completely scams you to get you to sign your contract with them. They offer this low price and a small deposit, then 3 days before the move they call to do one more inventory check, and the cost becomes over double what my original quote was.
