Two no shows on scheduled appointments. No phone call, no explanation. After the first one I agreed to reschedule because we did want an estimate for duct cleaning, but after the second no show I learned that I don't want to bother with this company.

There were far too many phone calls and followups involved in dealing with Coit. I originally called and asked for expensive Roman shades to be cleaned as they were- didn't want a quote, just wanted someone to come out and do it. They said they would want to take them down- take them in to be cleaned, and brought back- and someone would have to come do a quote. Bait and switch I own a hi-rise condo in downtown Denver which makes it difficult to find a good carpet cleaner. Few companies are able to clean several stories up without the proper equipment. I tried calling the local family owned company I'd used in the past but unfortunately they were booked. I needed service over the weekend as the condo is being listed to sell on the following Monday. Horrible customer service and prices overrated! The guy showed up late to clean the ducts in my home and I had to change my plans to accommodate. The big hoses left scuff marks on my walls in various places. They don't use a camera system to show the dirt before and after which is a minus. Thought he would at least clean off the vent covers since he had to take them off anyways; thought wrong! I had him give me a quote to clean my carpets and area rugs. Horrible customer service. I had made an appointment to have my ducts and carpets cleaned. COIT indicated that they would send 2 trucks between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. However, on the morning they were due to arrive, they called and indicated that they would be there at 8 a.m. I told them that I would not be ready for them at 8 a.m. They then advised that they would be at my home by 10 a.m. A few minutes later, I received another call stating that the carpet cleaner would be at my house at 1 pm, which is 2 hours after the... read more

Called Coit for emergency carpet cleaning...Horrible!!! I will never use them again! I've never had to spend so much time cajoling someone to do their job. What a waste of time and $$$

I saw an ad on TV offering 50% off services. When I called, was told it was 40%. Still had them come out to clean dryer vent and carpet on the stairs. Tech comes out and tells me the discount doesn't apply to the dryer vent unless you have the ducts cleaned as well. Then proceeds to discuss my furnace- telling me that it has never been really cleaned, but Coit could do a better job- for $425. Had the vent cleaned and cancelled the carpet cleaning.

After going to the home show I got a call that I had won 45% off services. I had Coit come out and give us a quote. They were about 35% higher than my other quotes, but with the 45% discount they were competitive. The next day I got a call asking if I had gotten my quote, I said yes. They asked if I would like to schedule the cleaning of my carpet. My reply was yes if they could do it on a weekend as I work full time. She said yes; we can do it this Saturday if you would like. Left rugs way to wet. Wanted to put an area rug down on den carpet, clean it and then put it back on my hardwood floor. I made him take it out o the drive as I was told it had to be done that way by their sales person,, because obviously a wet rug left on the hardwood floor will possibly permanently damage the hardwood floor. Good thing I made him take it out on the drive to clean it neither rug was dry in 24 hrs and the den was still damp in 36 hrs, That means they left WAY to much water and didn't get the rug vacuume... read more
