A nimble framework with solid variety Over all, it satisfies with tons of options and features. It's been around for quite a while so it has maturity. Constant contact is a simple and effective way to send newsletters! Pros I like the ease of use and ability to import contacts easily Cons sometimes the page glitches but not a big issue
Easy to Use and Good in Certain Scenarios We used Constant Contact to send out monthly newsletters, and for that, it worked great. It stopped working great when we started adding in more ecommerce-specific emails, and the revenue tracking made this near impossible. For that reason, we started looking for another software to suit our needs. However! Would Not Use Them I really had a poor experience with Constant Contact. I was so frustrated each time I had to work with it. Pros I did like that they had pre-made themes you could choose from. They also had a nice way to keep your contacts straight. Cons It was not easy to use. I didn’t like that I couldn’t upload my own designs easily. They were also very expensive. I would spend hours in frustration trying to make an email look like I wanted it to.
Constant Contact I work in Home care for seniors. Constant Contact allows me to communicate with different groups of people in a way that works for our company. I can send Holiday Greetings to everyone on my list, and send Birthday Wishes to caregivers, staff, and clients, as well as easily add to my contact list almost daily. Switched to MailChimp We switched to MailChimp a few months ago and are pleased with the change. Pros Some of the template designs were good. Cons The interface was very finicky. It was difficult to move items when designing our marketing. Their templates were ok -- some of the designs were better than what MailChimp offers, but not good enough to stay with them. The cost for this pretty basic, mediocre product is way too high for what they don't offer.
