Constant Contact Review Pros The ability to send out mass emails for our webinars and other marketing events without being marked as spam. Easy to create custom lists so the right content reaches the right audience. Cons I know it's required but when people unsubscribe from Constant Contact emails it renders the software useless for that section of our audience. Our agents may see and hit the "unsubscribe" option at the end of the email and then miss out on important invitations we send out.
What a Breeze Over all, a great product. I can send a super professional email to my internal publics super simple, which really makes my day. Pros I liked that there wasn't a huge downtime to learn the platform. From download to newsletter creation, it took me all of 30 minutes to navigate the platform and produce a great product. Too many limitations for the price Pros Constant Contact overall is easy to use and customer support is helpful. Cons Limitations are endless. There are many features that come standard in any other email platform that Constant Contact hasn't figured out yet. Things like sending emails in multiple languages, basic marketing automation, contact list suppression and exclusion, and more are lacking.
Easy Way to Send Communications Overall, I've been very happy with Constant Contact. The system allows me to store sufficient data and create multiple groups to send messages to. The system also sends communications quickly and offers some basic metrics to track efficiency. For my needs, it checks all the boxes. Not perfect, but a better option It allows us to easily create marketing campaigns to send to patrons, partners, and clients. Pros Constant Contact has easy drag and drop functionality to create quick newsletters and other email marketing campaigns Cons It can be glitchy and takes some getting used to in order to not mess up formatting and easily work with the software
Ok for the price, but certainly outdated and harder to navigate than other competitors Pros Price and what you get for it! otherwise that is pretty much it for pros... Cons I find their platform is aged and worn out and needs new fresh content for email marketing. Much of their graphics, copyrighted pics, and templates need to be modernized to this decade. It seems to me that there are better competitors out there and at almost the same price. I had them for over 5 years for the church I help lead as well.
Good connector So far it has been a good software to learn and work with. Fairly ready to use considering how much you can do with it. Pros Keeping connected to our staff, alumni, parents and grandparents is made simple with constant contact! Cons Sometimes it's difficult to get connected with a constant contact specialist. Once you do they are very knowledgeable.
Don't like their sales process The product seems fine but overpriced if you ask me. Pros I did the job the way described but I don't know if I could say more than that...I didn't have the best experience with them. Cons I had a super pushy salesman try to get me to signup after telling him multiple times I wasn't interested. This guy wouldn't let me off the phone...it was one of those sales guys that you almost buy from just to get them to leave you alone. Some push is okay but this was WAY too much.
Good for managing large lists but not as forward thinking as other service providers We send out weekly newsletters and other regular mailings to a variety of lists. We probably have 5-7 users managing different contact lists. Pros I got grandfathered into this software at my job but have used/researched several other tools.
