Send online newsletters Pros Very easy to send an online newsletter to our patients to let them know what's going on at our office. Cons It was a little difficult formatting our newsletter, but once we got it set, we use the same format every month.
Constant Contact does work but was overpriced for our organization Pros Constant Contact did work, however we did not get the desired return that we expected from the service. As a marketing tool, we got a few new customers but expected more for sure. Cons We found the software to be overpriced based on the return we got from it, our business was not helped as much as we were led to believe.
Makes Newsletters Easy We need to be in touch with our constituents, esp donors at least 2x per month, and that is not easy on top of everything else on my to-do list, so Constant Contact makes this newsletter as painless and fast as possible. More Robust than I Needed Pros Contstant contact helped create a very nice newsletter - professional and fairly easy to use. It is really more of a marketing tool than a communication tool. Nice features but you pay for them We are pleased with CC from a functional standpoint but for a small non-profit with budget limitations, there are other options that serve us better. Pros Great templates, easy to create awesome looking newsletters and update campaigns for donor awareness. Cons Cost. There are other platforms that can do similar or more in terms of functionality and at a lesser cost. Shop around!
