This place has gone seriously dowwwwwn. Had the worst breakfast here recently. Dried up potatoes, notably small portions and a giant biscuit consisting of mostly raw dough. Seriously overpriced meal for poor quality.

Fresno, CA. Shaw/Marty location. 10/8/2022. Approx 11AM. Was told a two hour wait. No thanks. Why wasn’t the place simply shut down? Adding insult to injury was their pitiful “Public Relations” who simply asked me to submit all of the information that I already gave, just in email. Umm. Isn’t that YOUR job? Black Bear has simply gotten too big for its own good and really needs to go out of business.
I put in my order with Grub Hub twice because, it said it couldn't take my order. I tried the first time with Paypal, and was charged even though, my order was canceled with no explanation. Then I used my cc and was charged again with no explanation. I called the Black Bear Diner in Riverton, Utah, and spoke to Nikki. SHE WAS VERY RUDE AND HUNG UP ON ME. Stopped in black bear today in lake havasu to treat myself to lunch and yes I went in as a single person and I watched two other tables of three and four not only get sat after me I was completely ignored their orders were taken and everybody just walked right past me won't ever be back

Was really hoping to get breakfast but options are limited at 11am. Thought this would be the spot. Waited 15 mins for a table which was fine but then waited another 15 at the table and had no service and eventually just left. Hangry now.

The owner is rude, judgmental, and abuses employees. I Will not be eating here ever again and will tell all my friends to avoid it like the plague. The way people are treated here is downright disgusting. *Chico location specifically*

I was treated poorly at a Black Bear Diner. I tried to give feedback on their website but they wanted too much personal information to do so. I can only assume they don’t care.

I used to Love Black Bear, but recently prices are just crazy. It is a diner. Not GOURMET! $9.00 for a bowl of oatmeal! $20 for basically a Denny's $9.00 Grand Slam and potatoes are tasteless, pancakes cold.
