I won't order again for takeout. 1 burger was ordered Med, it was incredibly undercooked. No horseradish with the Prime Rib. One of the soda cups had a hole in the bottom, and leaked everywhere. And whatever genius packed to to go bag, placed the chocolate cream pie (comes in a go box) into the bag ON IT'S SIDE?!

my burger was made wrong, when I asked for it to be fixed they just changed the bun on bottom, but sauce was still on the burger when I got back to my car. when I call and ask for refund nothing can be done because I paid with my card. I will never eat here again. horrible customer service. food I can't eat. money wasted. worst service to a mom on mothers day.

I do not recommend Black Bear Diner on holidays. Even when ordering online the wait time given is off by like an hour and a half. Today, mothers day, the food portions were smaller to go but the prices are still the same. Quality and presentation were off. On normal days I find black bear to be a nice place to go eat.

Placed an online order and ordered a dr pepper to drink with my meal. When i get there to pick it up, it is in a what looks like a kids size cup. I asked if they had drinks bigger than that? She got rude and didn’t understand what i was asking so i said so you don’t have cups bigger than that? And she said no. So i asked if she could just take it off my order then because i was being charged $2.69 for a regular drink that was in a kids cup and she just simply said no & didn’t even bother to try and make it right. Worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Ordered Ham and Cheese omelettes that had NO cheese and the hash browns were not done. DoorDash delivered so not much I could do about it. A complete waste of $20.

They have closed during this pandemic after moving into truckstops. Nice people as long as drivers don’t need to eat

They don’t season hash browns. Their “biscuits” are literal bread squares. Undercooked eggs with zero seasoning, not even salt and pepper. Ordered the biscuits and gravy and was grossly disappointed. Won’t be ordering here again. If I wanted to season my own food I’d set 15$ on fire and cook it myself.

last 2 times we were dining in the food quality had gone down and the service was slow, when it wasn't busy. This last time we ordered take out and our food was overcooked. The chicken fried steak was hard/tough and tasted like it was cooked from frozen. Hubby's eggs were over hard when he ordered over easy. My scrabbled eggs were dry. Biscuit was hard and dry. Hubby ordered a 3rd egg and never got it. We use to frequent Blsck Bear often, but no longer will we. 3 strikes sadly

My mom and I ordered takeout from Black bear diner today. I ordered the hobo omelette and hashbrowns and my mom ordered the California omelette with hashbrowns. We were both very disappointed, the hashbrowns were burnt on the outside and mushy on the inside, the California omelette had no flavor and almost no cheese, the sausage in the hobo omelette was horribly salty. Thankfully the sourdough toast was good but could have used a little more butter. We were very disappointed.
