Very dirty, coffee sucked and food wasn't that good. Bathrooms were gross.

Had the biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were dry with no flavor. Gravy had way too much pepper. Husband had chicken fried steak, hash browns, eggs and a biscuit. Chicken fried steak was good, hash browns were burnt. We rarely go out to eat and this was a date night we hadn't had in over a year. Big disappointment. We would not recommend this place and won't go back.

Went to the Black Bear Diner on 02/16/2020 at 7:45 pm located on Arden Way in Sacramento, California. Waited to be seated. After the people at the register were finished. We were ready to be seated. The waitress walked over to us, and said "sorry but were totally out of food". We can't serve you. The restaurant is open till 9:00 pm on Sunday. You're telling me that they ran out of everything? Coffee, pie, and breakfast for which is served all day. Right!!
