what a fiasco! server took our order, someone else delivered, had to ask for silverware from bus boy, he brought 1 set, ( there were 2 of us), server never checked back, food was cold, ate what we could, waited 15 minutes, still no server, finally had to go to front to get bill. this place used to be good .

My wife and i tried Black Bear Diner and was very dissapointed by the service and food. First, the greeter said he needed to wipe off our table and would be right back to seat us. He did wipe off the table then wandered off for several minutes until somebody else finally came and showed us to the table. Then, he came to take our order and when my wife asked for something off the dinner menu he said "it's not available til after 4." The waitress barely checked on us. The food was cold when it’s first came out. The manager was lazy and not greeting customers while they were eating to see for himself if the food was good or not. We were purposely seated in the back of the place, even though there were vacant booths up front,because we had 3 children with us. I have never had such horrible service at black bear diner in tell tonight. We ordered four meals two streak dinners and two salads plus we ordered a side of fries for my almost one year old which we had the ask the server for three times before it was brought to the table. we also had to wait for our food over half hour which isn't normal for this location when they aren't busy. The service is always bad. 3/4 times service was slow and unconcerned in St Charles Mo. Very bad management.

My sister & I like the diner, yet the W Shaw Fresno one is into recycling too much. Our placemats were previously used AND so were the toothpick flags in sandwiches. Just nasty practice for clean health‼️
