Been there twice in the am lately on their location on Arden. Been told both times it’s a 20-30 min wait for one person...and it’s not that busy. Foods great but they never have enough servers to actually serve?? Not worth the drive anymore.

well for one I'm not impressed with the decor and layout of the food in the container. this was sloppy work. it looks as though they tossed it in the tray and closed it up. and 2 I did not get my garlic bread. I'm not impress with the night shift crew here in porterville. they need to improve their skills a lot better. the soup doesn't smell that great too.

I drove 45 mins this morning to have some of the veggie hash and they were packed. After ordering and waiting forever they brought out something that wasn’t what I ordered and when I asked what happened I was told that they didn’t have the food prepared. So they substituted with other ingredients. (the right vegetables weren’t cut or something like that. Some weird excuse.) The first time I ate there I was so impressed and was looking forward to the return trip but it was a huge disappointment. I ordered the chicken cashew Caesar salad and when it was put in front of me it was not even what is on the menu. No red cabbage, no wontons, no croutons....sent it back and when she brought it back it still wasn’t “as described” but said the manager said it was right so I said read the description on the menu. porterville Black bear Their cooks need cooking lessons. The food they served was old and reheated. Worst tri trip and was old meat , green beans had either spoiled bacon in it . Fish was cold and the calamari was over fried. Do not get there fish special.

Poorly organized mess. No directions for employees. Second time here and it’s just as bad as the first time. Confusion at its finest.

Overall customer experience is below par. I sent an email to corporate on-line and never received a response. I spent my career in food and beverage working for well respected companies such as Marriott and the Compass Group. In my opinion this company is below industry standard.

so slow the manager gave us the meal on the house. went back a month later and walked out after being seated waiting 45 minutes and couldn't get a answer on how much longer.

Food wasn’t the greatest, service was awesome. Unfortunately they do not have military discount, unless ur in active duty (in uniform)... hmm which makes no sense cause they are located no where near a base. FYI, USMC do not walk off base in uniform. Sadly there’s no senior discount also.
