so slow the manager gave us the meal on the house. went back a month later and walked out after being seated waiting 45 minutes and couldn't get a answer on how much longer.

Food wasn’t the greatest, service was awesome. Unfortunately they do not have military discount, unless ur in active duty (in uniform)... hmm which makes no sense cause they are located no where near a base. FYI, USMC do not walk off base in uniform. Sadly there’s no senior discount also.

I have always Loved Black Bear, But last night was the worst. Uncooked food the worst service I’ve ever had, he wouldn’t even listen. And please explain how you can be out of backed potatoes at 7 when you don’t start serving them till 4? And no cobbler at 7, just a thought MAKE MORE. And the manager didn’t even say sorry.😢

Very good food but been here twice and the service was just terrible. It takes 20 minutes to get someone to take your order, and who knows when you'll get your food. We've overheard two other couples saying the same thing. Very disorganized and it seems like waiters don't get assigned tables.

CROOKED AWFUL PLACE DON’T GO!!!!! Our rental car was broken into while eating, $12,500 worth of stuff taken... The rental place said that was the 3rd rental broken into that DAY from The Black Bear Diner. Has to be a set up. The diner didn’t warn us not to keep luggage in our car (on the way to the airport of course so it was everything we had). If they knew and continue to have this happen they should warn their customers. It was crap! Police never showed up. Such a joke.

food sucked tonight ordered the turkey dinner. turkey was dry no stuffing. I asked she brought croutons veggies were hard. I hardly ate. I won't be back.

Horrible service and food but management is incompetent and does not care about the guest or the employees or the community. Don’t support rude corporate greed.

Pricing is high for what I got...a 3 oz meat patty with plain iceberg lettuce; was supposed to include a salad. I had to wait to get the waiters attention and ask wasn't it part of the meal. By then the last thing in needed was more lettuce. Waiter seemed to be in a hurry for use to leave; receipt provided before we were done eating; no offer of coffee or dessert, asking if a carry out box was needed while we were still eating; clearing the table when we were still sitting and talking with our drinks still to enjoy.

if you have an empty restraunt with multiple available tables yet 30 people are waiting to be seated you are doing it wrong. After waiting 20 minutes we went elsewhere
