The restaurant was dirty. The service was slow, it took 45 minutes from time of order to receive our food. Once we received our food it was cold and not worth eating. Almost every table near us was complaining about food/service and no one seemed to care about the complaints. We didn’t bother to complain just paid our bill and went home hungry. The only bright spot was the very friendly cashier when we paid our bill.
stopped for breakfast this morning--hubby's pancake was raw in the middle. I got 2 over sized biscuits (way too large) plus I wasn't given a knife or butter. this is the third time we've been disappointed with Black Bear. Way too many servers also.

my food was absolutely horrible today..myself and my son in laws hashbrown were burnt to a crisp and so greasy it was all over the bottom of the plate..my biscuits and gravy were Nicky pucks with gravy at a level of water pouring over it...i will never return to this place or recommend to anyone...the server was awesome as he tried to get me fresh hash browns and it turned into a argument with the cook...very unprofessional

Steak was too thin! Hubby's French drip was dry. Not what I expected at all.
Hardly anyone inside, watched 5 waiters tend to an empty table, after 15 minutes still no waiter for us so we left.
Went to the one in Gilroy today. Was not impressed like I usually am. Bad food, and bad service. Going to stick with the one in Hanford, Tulare and Visalia.
We put our name on the waiting list around 9:30 AM this Sunday morning. We were quoted 30 minutes. We waited for quite some time, only to realize parties that came in after us were already being seated. We checked with the hostess and they had just skipped past us on the list and forgot about us. Today’s serviced really sucked celebrating my sons birthday here they never brought our soups no refills they put us in the back room & forgot about us!! Very bad experience!! At the end they through water on the floor behind us & started scrubbing it loudly not something they should do while I’m eating next to them!!! REALLY DISGUSTING!!

The food is really awesome and huge portions enough for two meals. The service, however, is extremely horrible. It takes almost 1.5 hours to get our food every time we go. They aren’t friendly at all. And seem constantly flustered even when they aren’t that busy. They really need to get more experienced people in there or even people who want to be there because I can clearly tell they don’t want to be.
