My family and I visited the Black Bear Diner in Simi Valley today, and I must admit, it was, possibly, the absolute worst dining experience I've had. It started well enough. There was about a 30-minute wait for a table. It's a Sunday after church. I'm fine with that. From there, though, is when the visit started to go downhill. Waited 41 minutes to be acknowledge and we got up and left... which I’ve never done before in my life. So awkward.

This is the review “I gave this one star only for the food because it was great. However, the manager I believe his name is Johnny has a very bad attitude due to the lack of customer service. We were a group of 13 people, 9 adults and 4 kids, so the kids were kinda loud, and Mr. MANAGER asked us to leave. First, I think everyone else was as much as loud as the kids, second if you have a problem with kids, you should have a sign on the door says NO KIDS are allowed. terrible service, food had no flavor. I had a horrible experience with my family. I reached out about it because I was that disappointed to management, this was over 3 months ago, and still haven't heard back. they obviously don't care about customer satisfaction or good customer service.

Service went from 10 to -15 Jo is a horrible manager. Customers from the first day family and friends until today. Will never return. Sign in the window says CASH ONLY and it was 99.99% empty inside.

this is my 3rd time here. again.... slow service. our waiter did not come to our table until 10 min after we were seated. the first 2 times we were here our food took 30 and 45 min to get out. not suprised that it has taken our food to get out in 30 min . the decaffeinated coffee tasted like ot eas sitting for a long time. i had them take it back. we go every month to the one by knotts berry farm. our service is fast and the coffee is great. highly disappointed in this one. they REALLY need to step it up here. this will be... read more

service sucks all waitresses wanted to do is walk around and talk they would not refill our glass even after being asked then they got the wrong order steer clear
