Wonderful experience. We shopped around Maryland prior to coming in here and Mervis was by far the most pleasant experience. We made an appointment and Janette had everything laid out for us and was extremely helpful in the process. She helped us stay within our budget while picking exactly what we wanted.

In the general DMV area, there are a lot of options to buy diamonds. This place has great selection, competitive pricing, and very helpful/knowledgeable employees that aren't pushy at all. Also, their cleaning and repair is quick and thorough.

Everyone knows the Mervis' from the radio commercials, but did you know they also sell diamonds?? Okay, bad joke. My boyfriend and I went to Mervis to go ring shopping - and the selection was far better than the other 6 places we went to! You only get one engagement ring, so I was willing to keep shopping as long as it took. The first time I stopped by here was informally as I was just starting to shop around for the ring. That said, I wanted to go somewhere with a good reputation so Mervis was at the top of my list - and also a couple friends had good experiences here which helped. My husband and I were disappointed by the service we received and ultimately he did not purchase my engagement ring or wedding band here. Of all the jewelry stores we visited while shopping for my engagement ring, this was my least favorite. We scheduled an appointment and did a lot of research on the engagement ring styles we were interested in. Mervis provided a great experience, especially Mika Rockett who helped me select my fiancée's engagement ring. She was helpful, informative, and worked hard to accommodate me throughout the process. I also compared prices of similar diamonds at other jewelers in the area and Mervis was far and away a better deal. I would absolutely recommend Mervis to a friend buying an engagement ring.
