This was one of my least favorite visits while ring shopping. We were greeted when he arrived as we made an appointment and still had to wait for 20 minutes to get customer service. They did not have a big ring selection. Don't let that line, "everything is top of the line," fool you. Just because it's luxury doesn't make it beautiful. I was torn on how many stars to give as I will sum up my review this way.. they have a great selection, and products I have purchased are beautiful, but they have some shady business practices. First my fiance decided to purchase my engagement ring here, and we looked twice together but then I removed myself from the process as we wanted the final product to be a surprise. I visited Mervis on a referral from a good friend and colleague. I was referred to Dodi to help me find an engagement ring and it needed to have a vintage look. Dodi provided outstanding customer service and was extremely knowledgeable about the options that were available and in my price range. She made me feel comfortable and I was able to find the perfect ring!

I have brought my ring from Mervis in April 2016. Everything about the experience was pleasant and non-stressing. They had a large selection, and spent several sessions with me in helping me decide the perfect ring, and most of all with no pressure, allowing me to research other sellers as well. I finally purchased the ring and my fiancee loves it. After about 3 months, one of the prongs holding the diamonds was damaged. I received no apology directly for my multiple concerns. However, after posting this review, I did receive an email with a note stating they "were sorry they had not valued my ring properly at 18k" with a new estimate attached to that effect. Not convinced it's accurate vice simply matching their last one...but it's something?

My fiancée and I recently went to Mervis in Rockville to purchase wedding bands (given that I had previously had a great experience at their D.C. K Street location, where I bought my fiancée's engagement ring). We were helped by Maria Kamali, who was a wonderful guide in finding the bands that matched our personal tastes and fit within our budget. I have to give my husband all the credit for going to Mervis and choosing a spectacular, heirloom-style ring from the Verragio Paris collection. But my experience has more to do with the level of service I received from the staff at Mervis, specifically Janette D'avila and Monica Park, both of whom went above and beyond to help my husband and me. I worked with Brenda Friedman and purchased a cushion cut 1 carat diamond with a white gold halo band. I knew exactly what cut, band, and size my gf wanted. It took less than an hour to narrow down which ring I chose. Brenda was patient and helpful with everything and made the process easy. Thank you to Brenda as my fiance is absolutely stunned at how beautiful her ring is. Thank you again!!

I wasn't sure where to go to go ring shopping - a friend told me about Mervis and I only knew them from the radio commercials. Well I ended up getting both the engagement ring and bands there. Jon was nice and professional and more importantly honest about what I could get within my budget. We ended up beating my budget for the engagement ring so I was able to spend a little more on my fiancé's wedding band. Win-Win. Overall it was a great experience and not too pushy - i'd recommend the place to others looking...
