I have to give my husband all the credit for going to Mervis and choosing a spectacular, heirloom-style ring from the Verragio Paris collection. But my experience has more to do with the level of service I received from the staff at Mervis, specifically Janette D'avila and Monica Park, both of whom went above and beyond to help my husband and me. I worked with Brenda Friedman and purchased a cushion cut 1 carat diamond with a white gold halo band. I knew exactly what cut, band, and size my gf wanted. It took less than an hour to narrow down which ring I chose. Brenda was patient and helpful with everything and made the process easy. Thank you to Brenda as my fiance is absolutely stunned at how beautiful her ring is. Thank you again!!

I wasn't sure where to go to go ring shopping - a friend told me about Mervis and I only knew them from the radio commercials. Well I ended up getting both the engagement ring and bands there. Jon was nice and professional and more importantly honest about what I could get within my budget. We ended up beating my budget for the engagement ring so I was able to spend a little more on my fiancé's wedding band. Win-Win. Overall it was a great experience and not too pushy - i'd recommend the place to others looking...

This was a disappointing visit, considering all of the advertisements on the radio and even a couple friends having amazing experiences. First off, my boyfriend and my family RSVP'd for the Tacori event. We decided to go together to get an idea of what kind of ring I wanted and to get a better grasp as far as styles and pricing. I have had my eyes on a Verragio ring for a few years now. Mervis was the only place in the area that actually carried them. After reading some reviews I was incredibly anxious to go in, I thought these people might judge us for being too young to purchase such a ring. But we were welcomed as soon as we walked in and Dion Girton was the consultant who helped us. He was outstanding! He was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. They give you the best service of your life. The staff is knowledgeable give them your budget and they can work with you. One thing I would recommend is visit there website to check the price of the diamonds and inventory before you go into the store. So you don't go in asking for sizes and quality you def can't afford because once you see it in person its' hard to say no. This review is based strictly on the DC location, our experience at the Tysons location was a 5 star experience. My fiancé and I went to the Tacori event recently at the DC Tysons. We knew what we were there for (wedding band) and didn't require that much help. The Tacori rep and the female Mervis rep were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. We purchased our engagement ring and our wedding bands at Mervis diamonds and we had a fantastic experience. Our salesperson was Fazken Krikorian and he was excellent! He was very knowledgeable, did not pressure us and didn't even try to sell us the most expensive rings. He was very patient with our questions and responded to emails promptly - even off hours. I was dreading shopping for rings and Fazken made it enjoyable.
