SCAM-BAIT & SWITCH! I received offer in mail for $171 month consolidation for $34,311.00. I spoke with Shawn Torres, every question I asked, he could not provide an answer too, insisting on pulling my credit. I provided information, they pulled my credit, then hours later was called by Shawn Torres. He goes over my credit cards, which I was aware of, and "offerred" me to pay $525 month at 20% interest!!!!! This was basically what I was currently paying, with good credit. At this point, my credit has been pulled, dropped my c... read more

Business response:

Hi Coy, In behalf of Credit9, I want to extend my sincerest apologies for what transpired but also want to Thank you for bringing this to our attention. All our calls are monitored and recorded for quality assurance, I personally looked into your account and listened to the whole conversation. Once an application is submitted, we then begin the process of verifying all information as entered into the application. Much of this verification is automated, especially in the very earliest stages. When we pull the soft credit inqu... read more

It seems it is a company that is a broker not a lender (read fine print carefully). Means they will take your information and apply to other lenders and IF they receive offers they will connect you to them, with various APR's. These can be better than those Native American Land payday loans. SO IF NO offers are available, then they send your information to a debt consultation company. SO it seems the 0% is if you join "the program" which is their bs for debt relief program. Which can mess up your score for a long time. And f... read more

I received a pre-approved letter and tried to go online to see exactly what the company was about. The reservation code doesn’t work when you try to use it but when I called them, they said they could pull it up!! I asked the rep several times why I wasn’t able to pull it up using the same code and he kept saying he didn’t know. I asked him what he put in for a code but he never said. He never gave me any info about my pre-approved app if he pulled it up!! I tried five times before calling them. When they rep spoke to me abo... read more

The rep I spoke with (Maria) was unable to complete a complete sentence that made sense and it seems it was not a loan but credit conseling or something. I don't know because I got tired of half answers and told her good bye

Bait and switch. You receive an offer in the mail for low interest loan and it winds up you have to stop payments on yor account and they supposedly negotiate a lower pay off. The loan part is just to get you to call then they swith on you

Received an enticing offer in the mail to consolidate my debt. I went online, completed info and scheduled a return call. Santiago called me on time but he seemed distracted, asked the same questions over & over even after the majority were answered during the online process. I told him "It sounds like guys are playing video games in the background." He chuckled and said he would close his office door. He muted the line because it suddenly went very silent. Before that I could hear guys laughing and cheering. Sounded like he... read more

Was ok on service. Terms of pay back/pay off were slightly misleading. Thought we understood perfectly, but apparently didn't work out that way.Said 4 years total...turned into closer to 5 1/2. Pay back at 24% is as bad as original cards were.I guess the ccs were paid off sooner, but doesnt appear to have 'saved' as much considering length and %. Seems to have the perception of a "bait and switch.
