I had a really positive experience with Critter Control helping us deal with a raccoon family that had taken up residence under our backyard deck. They ultimately caught eight raccoons (essentially the entire family) which had unfortunately become heavily infested with fleas. Critter Control was extremely quick to respond to my enquiry (on a Sunday evening!). John L. came to my house and did a thorough inspection, which he explained clearly. Everything was as aboveboard and as advertised.

These guys are amazing. First of all, the responded right away. They're proposals were low key--no pressure to pay for more expensive options. Second, they really know what they are doing. The jobs we had them do were perfect. All our problems were solved, easily. They various people we dealt with were all professional, considerate, and knowledgeable. I can't imagine having anyone else do the job.

We reached out to Critter Control of San Jose after hearing activity in our crawl space. Steven, the owner did a very thorough inspection. He identified the entry point for the rat (a small gap in the foundation from the original construction in 1968), as well as several additional improvement suggestions to ensure that birds, squirrels and other rodents will be kept out of the house.

Outstanding experience. We had found a TON of feces in our yard, clustered in an a few specific areas. Seemed most likely a raccoon latrine. We reached out to Critter Control and they offered to come out that day. I couldn't make the appointment, but they came the next day and evaluated the area, noting where the raccoons were likely coming from. They set up a trap in the most affected area. We requested service to trap moles and gophers in our yard. Chris and his team came to install a number of stakes in the backyard where it looked like entrance to the underground. They came one week after that, for 3 consecutive weeks to remove any caught animals and reinstall the stake according to new observation. In between, when they were in the neighborhood to service other houses, they also came by to remove the caught animals. They caught 4-5 over time and we haven't seen them since. I called Critter Control to handle a raccoon that entered our crawlspace - they promptly called us back, scheduled a visit to place a trap for the critter. They also did a great job explaining the process, including what I should do if the trap caught a different animal and how to open the trap if a neighborhood cat went for the bait - fortunately this didn't happen. I've gotten multiple inspections from other companies upselling and lying about my rodent problem. So beyond thankful to get actual honest professional help from Critter Control. As I have a tile roof, Michael was real with me and rejected my business but still hopping in a 30 minute call to advise me on real solutions I can partake in. Even without profit he's looking out for me, which is so admirable and I'm forever grateful for his advice. This is the type of honest man you do business with.
