I had a rodent problem in the attic and after a lone rat made its way into our home (gross!) I requested for quotes from multiple companies through Yelp. Wildlife technician David came to our house and performed an assessment to determine possible entry points that needed to be repaired. I had a skunk get under my home via a broken crawlspace vent and it sprayed...the next day I immediately contacted several pest control businesses via the Yelp request feature. Critter Control was not the cheapest quote we got, but my partner and I went with them for one reason: the high level of customer service. Everyone we talked to (either through phone, email, or in person) was kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. No one wants rats in their home. I called four companies to estimate the cost of getting rid of them. Critter Control (Chris Roberts) arrived when he said he would, provided a written estimate, did not try to sell me services I did not need, assured me the cost of his estimate would be applied to the work completed, and charged me one third the price of the other "experts". Critter Control visited four times and got rid of the rodents. Excellent job, exceptional customer service, highly recommended.

These guys are top-notch. The staff is incredibly professional. The office was crystal clear on the required visits to address our rat problem, from the initial consultation to the three check-point visits. Steve was basically on-time to every visit; he called ahead for one when he was running 10 minutes behind. Steve took the time to explain the process and walk us though the get-well plan. Luis from Critter Control did an excellent job of making sure all entries into the house were closed off and secure. Then came out an additional two times (always punctual!) to check the traps. I've heard no critter activity since he sealed up the access points. He was extremely professional, clean, courteous, and honest. I would happily recommend Luis and Critter Control of San Jose to anyone in need of a good critter control company. I'm so glad I won't have to listen to anymore rats scampering in my ceiling!
Didn't even work with these guys, but they already gave me grade A service. Sat 8 am. Worked through the night, passed out, 3 hours later, awoke to the sound of scrabbling on something metal. Froze in place. Thought a thief was trying to pick my garage door lock. Peered through the window -- nada. Investigated outside cautiously. I found Critter Control via Yelp's Request a Quote. Critter Control was very quick to respond AND recommended that I try a few (free) techniques (of dissuading squirrels from invading my wife's garden) prior to hiring Critter Control for professional intervention. Imagine that -- free advice! I truly appreciated Critter Control and will be sure to hire them for future critter control needs!
Our normal contractor was too busy so they referred us this competitor, but warned us that they may be busy also. Sure enough, they were busy but agreed to schedule a visit. They are more established and use automated email and phone answering systems. The assigned technician is very knowledgeable and patient in explaining what he found and although the quote seems high to us we feel it's worth it as long as our problems are resolved.

Prompt. Found the rat problem almost immediately but was still very thorough. Report was great and inspector provided other helpful recommendations for other pests. Great to work with with and would use again!
