We had a rat problem which we worked with Critter Control back in Oct. The experience was really good. Their response was on time, and communicate was great. They also coordinated with our neighbor so that the rats can be terminated altogether! They have detailed report of pics of all the jobs they have done, and they have email reminder of each appointment the day before. Our helper was Andrew, who did a really good job. After my two cockapoos went nose to nose with a very large opossum last week at 5 am, I just couldn't take it if they got injured. I have held off on doing anything with them for years, trying all types of deterrents that worked only for a few days, maybe a week or two if lucky. Finally asked Critter Control to come out and set traps after seeing mounds of mounds of feces on my shed. We had a skunk (and raccoons) problem for which we contacted Critter Control. Besides setting the trap, we also had them replace broken screens on multiple crawl space vents with galvanized steel screens and one with foam and chicken wire. Their work quality was excellent and the screens used were of high quality as well. They were on-time and promptly finished all the work. Great service, very knowledgeable, kept their word, showed up on time and did what was agreed to in a prompt, professional way. A heads up: Critter Control is franchised based. The San Jose one, I found out, has nothing to do with the one located in the East Bay area.

Inspection is $199. Bummed. If I had known, I wouldn't have waited to try to get through to them. I wish I could work with you but an inspection of $200 seems high.

Really great service!! We had a serious raccoon issue and could not get it to stop ripping up our front yard. We tried every option before deciding we would have to go the direction of trapping. I called four places and this was the only place that was not only responsive but gave me all the information up front on what to expect and got someone out right away. We've now used Critter Control twice: once to get rid of rats in the garage and once to get rid of rats in the house. Their service included setting and checking traps, checking for entry points and sealing the entry points. They responded promptly to each call, set up a number of appointments (e.g., to check traps), showed up when they promised, and charged very reasonable rates. They are also really lovely people. They are informative, friendly, fun to talk to.

So, I did not actually work with these wonderful folk, but did inquire about services that turn out to be beyond their scope. Not only did they get back to my text in 2-3 minutes, they provided a referral for the work we need. Almost made me wish we did have a mouse issue inside the house. Almost ... If we ever do, Critter Control will be the first place we call. You just don't find the kind of caring professionalism exhibited every day. Restored a wee bit of my faith in humanity!

We have tried for years to trap the critters that seem to like living here with us and always hoping that they would not come back. But since we live in Cal, and right across from an open area with the Guadelupe creek running through it, it was an Epic fail.
