Have had several rodent control companies come over the years as we have had serious rat issues. Critter Control gets A+ rating from me! The initial phone call with Chris made me feel I had picked the right company. David ( the nicest person ever) came yesterday and in addition to locating some entry areas that were either new or overlooked in past years also gave tips on things to do to discourage rats from invading my garage, etc. Very low key, no pressure to sign contract and sent all his findings & photos so I can decide... read more

These guys are the best... Chris spent three hours here analyzing the problem in every crawlspace in the attic. He was everywhere he documented everything including the areas that looked good. This transparency made me feel so confident in their estimate. He was so incredibly thorough. I was really surprised as I had a couple of other companies here who did not do the same thing. Anyhow, we are in the process of solving the problem and I would never go anywhere else.!

Excellent service. Successfully trapped a skunk and came quickly whenever a trap had been activated. No complaints.
Have an issue with some rats that come by the property after a possum issue was resolved, and was given a pretty in depth explanation of what to do moving forward. They pointed out that we would need bait boxes, and that it would be a more effective and efficient solution than the traps that they offered. Lots of good information over a call. They seem pretty honest.
Response to requests with clear upfront pricing. Was very knowledgeable in diagnosing ground squirrel issue.
We called Critter Control of San Jose after Brooks Pest Control failed to handle our rodent issue. Chris came out, inspected the house, perimeter, and attic. He correctly diagnosed the issue, and set the appropriate traps in the right locations. Within a day we had caught the rat. Chris returned and set additional traps to make sure the issue had been resolved. He then closed all potential entry holes ensuring future rodents would not be able to return. Came out but decided he didn't feel like doing the job. I appreciated his honesty but we still were stuck with rats.
We have had a fantastic experience with Critter Control and especially with Steve. Steve was very professional and took the time to discuss the rodent problem we were facing and how we can solve it. He was very easy to communicate with, friendly, and always came on time and you could see that he really cared about helping us solve our problem. He is very experienced and explained rodent behavior really well. The rodents were trapped and we are happy being without them - thank you Steve!
