I volunteered with Crossroads for a short time and later went to them for Palliative Care when my MS deteriorated. I do not feel like they were professional towards me as a patient. I got a lot more support as a volunteer. This has really soured me to my volunteering memories with them too. I wish I knew how crummy their hired staff and care is, since I felt like I had such a good experience volunteering. I don’t even know where to begin. This was such a terrible traumatic experience. We were treated so poorly. The staff was so insensitive and didn’t really seem to have a clue on what happens during someone’s end of life journey. My moms pain was NOT being managed properly and we were left alone to figure it out. The promises made to us in the beginning were all lies. We had to switch over to another Hospice service and it was the best decision we made for our loved one.

RecommendedThere are not enough words to say. How much my husband Rick and I love Crossroads Hospice. They are Amazing, every STNA, Nurse Aide, Medical Assistant, Chaplin, who sit with my mom and us, for 8 days, while our mom passed away. As well as her nurse . I would recommend you guys to anyone. Thank you for helping make my mom’s passing easier. And for all the love, support, and comfort. From everyone thank you again.
Used them for 3 weeks. They did not deliver the services they promised. Lock box for narcotics never showed up. An accurate med list was NEVER created. Mom got sick and they refused to believe she was sick instead insisting she had deteriorated. Told me she was on antibiotics already(is not) We’re now at hospital seeking treatment for infection. Trying to transfer care to a different hospice service and they are holding her records hostage for a HIPAA release which is NOT required under law for a continuity/transfer of care.... read more
