The quality of the product is good, the customer service on the front end before you buy is great. After you buy and they send the people to your house to do the work is when it breaks down. The shingles were put on several months ago and in the process of putting flashing on, they split one of the siding boards. They have been told three different times and shown pictures. So far no one has contacted me about fixing it.
It took at least 6 months just to get the inspection and warranty. It took another 3 months to get a return phone call on concerns that we had. It does have a 50 year warranty.The workman were nice but therewas a language barrier. This is a single story house with a low pitch so it should have been an easy job to do. We had a stainless steel chimney pipe but they sloppily painted over it. They never even asked if they could do that. I contacted DeBella Exteriors to set up an appointment for a bid on a new roof. DaBella Exteriors came to my home, did a roof inspection, and gave me a bid. The issues began here. The whole bid process took about two hours, which was okay, but the concerns began when I told him that I had put a roof on my own house before, and I just did not want to do it this time. A friendly enough salesperson visited the house. We have about 30 windows in the house, so it took a while for him to take measurements. He then sat us down for "the presentation." This ended up being a classic sales pitch, starting with a friendly style, but ending in a high pressure, uncomfortable way. The quote started at $44,000, but by the time he left, after making several panic-filled calls to the boss, who amazingly gave unprecedented concessions to gain our business, he ultimately offered to do the work for $28,000.... read more
We scheduled an estimate through a door-to-door sales man, not something we usually do. The estimator arrived promptly several days later and examined and measured the windows from the interior. He did a quick walk around looking at the exterior of the windows. We received a quote for 8 Alside Excalibur sliding windows and 2 Promenade sliding doors initially quoted at $20,300. I agreed to an estimate for roof replacement in response to a door to door solicitor who offered a $25 Fred Meyer gift card for having the estimate done. Within an hour or so I was contacted by DaBella's to set the appointment. Along with the expected questions (address, etc), I was asked whether or not I am married. We had a new roof put on our home. They use GAF products and after the roof was done, it was inspected by -allegedly -a GAF inspector. We were not allowed to know the outcome and/or report of this inspection. We wanted to replace the corrugated fiberglass roofing on our sunroom as well, and go with shingles like the rest of the roof so that it would stop leaking permanently (we had patched it a few times previously.)
