They rejected my job as too small, then aggressively tried to upsell me to replacing the roof or siding. WOULD NOT STOP CALLING. Easily 30 calls. Lied to my husband. Complete douches.
DaBella was the first company to come give me price quotes on my project. I learned a lot meeting with the guys that came out to look at the job. However, there was a lot of pressure to sign the contract on the initial meeting, with significant discounts offered if I signed that day. I refused, and they agreed to hold the price for a few days. Install went well or so I thought but because of inadequate ventilation we had attic mold 3 years later. DaBella sent repair person who changed the place of intake ventilation, but my Spanish is not good enough to know from him if the amount of ventilation is adequate. GAF has a formula on website and I estimate that the ventilation is not adequate. And worse yet, we have the wrong kind of ventilation for the great NW because the ridge ventilation fills with Fir Tree droppings.
Felt highly pressured. Longest sale's pitch. Price was highest. Said that if not best bid they would see what they could do. Called back repeatedly, sometimes within minutes, and had to tell them to stop calling twice. They were intrusive. When told they were high, instead of telling us what they could do, said they needed to come out and repeat sales pitch. Insisted that both spouses be present, but it felt like they wanted to work one spouse against the other to upsell.
We were told we would get an elegant shower and tub using superior materials and the highest quality workmanship. What we ended up with was an ordinary looking flimsy tub and a stall with wide sealant seams plainly visible. Also the water inlet pipe to the tub protrudes 2-3 very visible inches beyond the wall to the on/off faucet. These guys do good roofing jobs but don't let them anywhere near your bathroom.

We have no interest in working with a company whose representative ignores what we say we need.
The Da Bella sales person was very pushy and relentless. After measuring and then talking to us for 30 minutes at the table, they (2 of them) had barely gotten started on their pitch. I let them know my time was limited, I couldn't spend more than an hour, as I needed to get to work. I reiterated my need to wrap it up several times, so I could get to work. I had told them that my husband wanted nothing to do with any decisions about the new roof and that he left it up to me to decide. They refused to go over the estimate with me or even give me an estimate unless my husband was here too. He said that I probably wouldn't be able to understand everything well enough in order to tell my husband what the estimate entailed. Really?!?! Are we back in the 50's or 40's, 30's, 20's?
