DO NOT use the alterations department of David's Bridal! I took my dress there, it ended up costing more than my actual dress, and when I picked the dress up, it was poofier than when I bought it in the first place. They didn't hem the dress, they just raised it, folded it, and sewed it. I took it to another alterations person who told me they could have easily just actually hemmed it. I went in for my dress and they were accommodating and helpful. I went back to pick something up and the employees just looked at me- I tried to get someone's attention and was ignored. I stood at the check in desk for 10 minutes before someone came over and told me that they didn't have time to help me look - I WAS THERE TO PICK UP SOMETHING, no on even asked me. I had an appointment for 1 PM, I was not attended to until 1:20PM. I was not happy about being made to wait for 20 minutes when I had made my appointment months ahead of time. The dress I purchased from David’s Bridal needed some alterations, the alterations are very pricey, excessive in my opinion. The alterations are costing me more than what I paid for the dress...! Overall not delighted with David’s Bridal...

The dress was way too big and the alterations were crappy. I asked for sleeves to be made of the material they cut off the bottom and the sleeves looked like a kid made them. They could have done a better job. They gave me 2 dates for pick up after alterations. They told me that It was best to get it closer to the wedding so the dress was freshly pressed.
