Finding a wedding dress and my bridesmaid dress was great, and i loved the sales lady, but after i paid for everything it all went down hill. This store is very unorganized, when i went to go pick up my undergarments for the dress that went well. Well the very next day they called to tell me my wedding dress was in and i explained how i live in Alexandria and i was literally there yesterday. We had an appt yesterday and once our time was up that was it. The niece wanted to continue to look and try on dresses but we were told to come back again another day. Luckily, we left there and across the parking lot was another bridal store. We stopped in, were helped right away and She said yes to the dress. David’s lost our sale because they rushed us out.
Worst experience ever!!! Hey I went today with my daughter so she can try on wedding dresses and it seems a little confusing the person that was helping us was not friendly at all and didn’t help us pick out dresses we sort of felt like we were on our own. DO NOT BUY THE PRESERVATION KIT THEY SELL!!!!!! I have been dealing with the absolute worst of the worst in trying to get my dress situation rectified. David's Bridal says to contact the preservation company, the preservation company says to go to David's Bridal for any kind of refund. David's Bridal indicates they won't process the refund that the preservation company has to do that. The girls in the shop were very helpful and was pleased with their service. However the trying on experience was horrendous. The dressing room felt small and claustrophobic. It was 95 degrees outside and absolutely no ventilation in the dressing. There are also no mirrors which I get, they want you to come out to see it but this made getting the dress on difficult. Not very impressed with the after sale service, bought a bridesmaid dress from them a couple of months ago for an upcoming event and paid a fair amount for. My size didn’t change so I didn’t try the dress until now and needed alterations 1 week before the wedding, they had to make some adjustments and I had to pay almost the price of a new dress. I feal like they took advantage of me because I absolutely needed their services fast.
I honestly felt very rushed...I expected a more one on one experience.... instead it was very loud , my attendant seemed too busy to have patience and allow me to take in my moment... I also don't see the exact dress of what was advertised. the halter neckline is completely different from the dress in the vera Wang photo..
Last night my sister-in-law to be was treated with such bad manners...It was sickening. I’m not the type of person to complain or get upset, but when my family is being mistreated I can’t just stay quiet. I have been to this same location for myself, for another person, and not to mention the mother of the bride had just recently purchased her dress and wedding essentials there as well for a vow renewal (thank God it was a good experience for her, but I can’t say the same for her daughter, my sister-in-law to be). 3 out of 4 dresses (including the brides dress) did not have the hooks on the top to hold the dresses together. We did not discover this until we were getting dressed for the wedding yesterday. The bride had to use an extra ribbon that came with my dress, to hold her straps together. Her dress didn’t have the hooks to keep it around her neck!!!!! As much as we paid for these dresses and we had to finagle ways to keep them on. Mine was strapless with no hook to hold it up around. I could understand maybe one having the hooks ... read more
