My sister and I are getting married a few months apart so we booked an appointment at the David’s Bridal in Dartmouth Crossing NS and made the drive up from our home town. Our stylist Alyssa was amazing, she was the only reason we didn’t walk out. The thing that made the experience bad was the rest of the staff, talking to us rudely and messing up my appointment time. I’m very upset with this store. My bridesmaid ordered their dresses with the CORRECT PLU code. My bridesmaids all live in NJ so the dresses had to be delivered to their houses. Well ALL my bridesmaids dresses were wrong when the dresses came in the mail. The cashier told them the dresses will go to the store first to be approved and then mailed out. Now all my bridesmaids have to travel back out here (2 hours away) to return their dresses because a cashier typed in the wrong codes. I was told to never go to a davids bridal... read more
Disappointed with the customer service when we walked in and during our visit. When going to spend a significant amount of money for a very important day I don’t think I should be rushed. My sales associated was very helpful but once I found the dress and went to the register she quoted me the wrong price. $150 more!!!! That’s a huge disappointment. I bought a bridal gown, two braidsmaids dress and a prom dress for my daughter. Plus I have 7 braidsmaids that still need dresses.
"I had made an appointment for 11am today to have my bridesmaids try on dresses. When I got there there was only one person working the door but we finally checked in and we were told that someone would call for us. 25 minutes later our attendant finally found us and brought us to the fitting rooms. The experience of helping our bride to be find the perfect dress was okay...but I'm very disappointed in the sales lady who helped us. She told us THE "bell ringing" dress was one price and it ended up being $150 higher at the register. This is not the time you disappoint the very joyful customer. And another dress that was purchased was also higher than what she said. Her job is assist the customer and provide accurate info. MAJOR FAIL!! Ok, so after reading a few reviews I see I am not alone, this locations customer service sucks. My sales associate was so busy trying to cash me out. I had to tell her several times, I am not ready!. I still needed shoes and accessories. She really rushed the entire process with me. Furthermore, they ONLY thing she took her time with, was explaining the NO RETURN POLICY/ ALL SALES ARE FINAL (really). Please, please, please do NOT go to this store. Make the trip to a different David's Bridal store. The management here is the worst my family has ever encountered. I was ordered the wrong color dress without my consent and the management instead of apologizing and admitting the mistake has made up so many lies to cover their own butts. We were just in there today looking for bridesmaids dresses and the lady at the front was very rude. They acted like they did not want to help us at all so we left to go some where else.
