I went here yesterday to find my wedding dress . The experience was ok, but the shop was a bit chaotic. The line to checkout took forever because it was an bit unorganized. I also saw other customers being offered special things like a shutterfly gift card. There was one rung up on my receipt but it was never offered to me. I also wasn't told whether I would get a garment bag with my dress or anything . Not very pleased. I received a phone call my dress was ready for pickup. I went to my alteration appt. Sat there for 20 minutes for them to tell me my dress haven't even arrived. I was told that they tried to call me the day before and received a busy signal. How do you get a busy signal on a cell phone? I'm not sure. Never heard that one before. I would prefer to give NO stars, but that isn't an option. I casually walked into David's Bridal today. I did not have an appointment, as I was just casually & completely unexpectedly in the area with some time to kill between meetings. It was a busy place, but not terribly so. The ladies in alterations were very nice, I wish they would give you more information regarding alterations prices. They dont price alterations prices any where. When making my appointment originally I asked how much I should budget and was told by the sales staff $200 - $250 so I did. They basically took me in the fitting rooms, got me in my dress and pinned and marked my dress on where we needed to make changes. Such an unprofessional environment! I went in today to check some bridesmaid dresses that I found online. A few associates made eye contact with me and did not even ask to assist me or asked if I needed help. They were pacing back and forth not assisting anyone else and continued to make eye contact, but still did not acknowledge that I was in the store! I can see from recent reviews, I am not the only one who experienced such unprofessionalism and lack of customer service! Absolutely ridiculous!

I am in my best friend's wedding and we came to David's Bridal for the bridesmaids dresses only. We had such an awful experience here from the moment we checked in until the moment we walked out the door. I'm really glad the lady who helped us urged me to buy my dress that day because it was going to take "14 weeks to come in". I just got my email today that my dress is ready to be picked up.... it's been 6 days since the appointment. VERY POOR customer service. Poor attention to detail. Too focused on "making a sale". Spelled my daughters name wrong. Pulled all of the wrong style dresses even after looking at photos.
