I had an appointment scheduled today for my first wedding gown shopping experience. I'll admit, I was apprehensive because I have seen some bad reviews, but my experience was better than I could've hoped for! Dana was my consultant. She was very friendly, attentive, and patient. I couldn't have asked for a better consultant. She made me feel 100% comfortable. I left with a dress in mind but had another appointment scheduled later in the day that I still wanted to go to. I gave this 5 stars so people would actually read it. I made an appointment at 12:30 today this past Wednesday. When I got there we were 20 minutes early, so my mom and I decided to browse the prom dress section. 30 minutes go by and our dress fitter skips over us and helps another girl who is there for a prom fitting also. The receptionist tell the lady that she has the wrong people and that she was supposed to be helping my mom and I and she just says oops and goes about her business with the other girl who is just a walk ... read more

This place needs to double their staff at this time of year. we went there at noon on Sunday and were told that we couldn't try on any dresses without an appointment and we couldn't get an appointment until after 4pm. The poor staff was totally overwhelmed. We went to this same store for my daughters prom gown last year and it was an amazing experience. Clearly overbooked and understaffed. A truly miserable experience.

This would be my second bad experience at David's Bridal and both at two different locations. The first as a bride and this time as a bridesmaid. The service is HORRIBLE! As a bride, I wasn't paid attention to and it felt like the sales rep assigned to me had more than one customer. Not a great way to make a bride feel special! Not to mention, she wouldn't let my bridesmaids choose dresses for me but then wouldn't listen to my suggestions when I didn't like the ones she chose! So frustrating! Went to look at bridal and bridesmaids dresses. Our consultant was far from attentive, friendly, and not very helpful. A couple of my bridesmaids were talking to her trying to give her an idea of what kind of dress they wanted to see and she flat out says "oh I'm sorry, I wasn't listening." She kept disappearing and when I was trying on dresses, she wasn't even there to help me zip up when I walked out of the dressing room. My friends had to do it! Not a good experience.

Very disappointed in the Depford store. Total chaos in the store My future daughter in law told the girl Jessica her budget & she kind of laughed & told her the dresses that she chose were over that budget. She never even suggested her to check in the clearance section . On the way it's saw the exact dress she was explaining to the girl. We will definitely not retro that store but will go to the Mayslanding store.

The girl that helped me try dresses on was very sweet. But I gave her a budget and a style that I wanted. Neither of those were met. I'm not sure if they make some kind of commission off of the dresses that get sold. Also it was just a complete disaster in that store. I'll be going to the one in Mays landing and hopefully they can help me find the dress I want

This was the worse dress shopping experience I've ever had. As a bride this experience is supposed to be an amazing once in a life time opportunity. But not for me. It was the most stressful overwhelming experience that I wish never happened. First off, the consultant didn't seem to appreciate anyone looking for dresses for me to try on, she took that as her sole responsibility, which would have been great had she taken the time to get a feel for what I liked. I had some specific things I was looking for in my wedding dress, and some things I didn't want to see. It felt like she didn't listen when I mentioned, "I don't like v-necks", as she brought more v-necks.
