This being my first time going to try on wedding dresses my experience was awful. It took at least 20 mins to figure out undergarments then it was one dress at a time. You had to share one mirror with 15 other brides. People were stepping on them. I thought I had found "the dress" but my appointment was up so they could put the dress number on file and I can come back even though my guests were from out of town. This was my first visit to any bridal shop, they were over booked, understaffed. The employees were not sure if they agreed on the company policies. A few rude associates which I think stems from lack of training. The bride I was with was talked to by an employee like she was yesterdays garbage. I understand that bridal season means the store is busy, but do not make promises and then lie to cover up that promises were made.

So I had an appointment there before to get my wedding dress and I had a fantastic experience. However, this time I went with my sister and my niece to look at bridesmaids dresses. The consultant they paired us with (I believe her name is Jenna?) did not do a very good job picking out dresses and seemed very inexperienced. She had her attention divided because she was working with another person, which I understand. Let me just say , today I know how Julia Roberts felt in pretty women when she walked into that dress boutique and how those women treated her. No we were not dressed like that.... David's Bridal in Winston Salem treated us like that. After having an appointment for 2 wks, we were asked to get off the stage, which is big enough for many different bridal party's could fit, simply for one spoiled girl and her bridemaids. My daughter and my experience at davids bridal was the worst customer service experience you could imagine. We had a 2pm appointment and it was chaos at the front desk. Karen, the manager, told us it was our lucky day because she was going to help us. She put three dresses in the room for my daughter. She tried on one that was too small. The girl that helped us was great. I was there for my sister who was choosing her wedding gown. The place was so packed we couldn't really move. Don't understand why they booked so many appointments at the same time. I had to steal a chair from across the store for my handicap mother to sit in. Also, was charged for a garment bag and was never informed that there would be a charge for it. I think it should come with the purchase of the dresses. Chaotic overall.
