If I could give zero stars, I would. Thankfully, the women at Alfred Angelo's actually know what they're doing and I was able to buy a gorgeous dress there.
The first time I went in to pick out my wedding dress, my consultant was VERY rude, she payed more attention to her friend then she did me. She let me try on 3 dresses and then when I asked to try on my dream dress she rolled her eyes. The second time I went in to pick up my dress and got the same rude attitude from a different person. I asked them if they could hold my dress there for one more day because my car wouldn't fit it, they told me no. I paid 2,000$ for my dress and they refused to hold it another day. I just walked out of there. I had an appointment for 2:00 pm. I got there just a couple of minutes early. When I walked in I was greeted by a gal Janelle (?) that seemed annoyed at my presence, stuck a finger up to me and continued her phone conversation. It was another employee that she was calling in to work. She hung up the phone and proceeded to tell me how she hates when they make her change the schedule. Terrible service! We came into look at bridesmaids dresses, and they apparently won't give you the time of day unless you're waving cash at them. I would recommend anywhere l, but the GJ store.
I showed up to my appointment yesterday excited for my first day of trying on dresses and it was the most awful experience from start to finish. Walking in the door there were about 20 customers because the front "desk" was so unorganized. They sent us wandering until she called our consultant which took about 10-15 minutes then she grabbed us standing asked 3 quick questions not even looking as me when talking, walked us to a tiny changing room on a corner that did not even have its own mirror. Had an appointment and still wasn't helped until at least 30 minutes after our scheduled time. The "stylist" assigned to us was both unknowledgeable about everything to the colors of the dresses they offered to the different styles. She was unhelpful, clueless, and unwilling to take the time to ask any questions that would have helped our party to find any dresses that we liked. The entire experience was awful. Very rude staff, the front counter girl was cursing in front of guests, "no sizes" available in the dresses I liked or perhaps the consultant didn't want to help. Definitely a negative experience. They have a large selection to look through but everything else was negative.
