Not very impressed... This was wedding dress shopping for my future daughter-in-law and found it to be a poor selection (she's been there twice now) Dresser made us feel we were asking for an act of God to get a dress off the mannequin that was a better fit (she's a size (0-2) they kept putting her in sz. 10's. most of the bridal party was under the weather with colds etc. but, kept the appt. Worst experience I have ever witnessed. Fortunately I didn't have to deal with them on my wedding day but I was to be a bridesmaid for someone else and she wanted to go to David's bridal. The sales rep was rude as is the manager. I ordered my dress anyhow for this wedding only for my dress to be picked up by another bridesmaid. The issue was never the bridesmaid picking up my dress it was that David's bridal sent my dress paid for by me out the door without my approval. I ordered my dress a year ago and they told me to bring the dress back for a fitting in three months. I was also told the alterations was included with the dress. Went in today for my fitting and the dress was ordered in the wrong size too big so they wanted to charge 500.00 to do alterations on the dress. I don't have that money and would not pay that after I spent 900.00 on the dress! The refuse to give me back my money or discount the alterations! What's wrong with your new location in Westbury ?? I made an appointment for bridesmaid dress week prior for 4 pm. I was not seen until 4:30. The lady gave me the dress that I asked and disappeared. Never checked back. I had to go the main girl up front and ask for help with the dress. Then that girl had to look for my stylist. No one knew how to fit the vesta dress and how to adjust it. We had such a difficult time with this store. Not only did they order the wrong sized dresses for both the mother of the bride and the bride her self the zipper on the mother of the bride dress was basically broken when we got it. It won't go up or down without an intense struggle and you feel like the zipper is going to break. There was lots and lots of extra "hidden" fees. Not impressed at all, awful quality in what you receive.

I called last weekend to have one of bridesmaid dresses shipped and was told they couldn't talk to me right now because there were customers in the store. That to me is telling me that the customers in the store are more important. The manager I spoke to also had an attitude problem when I asked for her. WARNING: Long rant about David's Bridal ahead... First and foremost I'd like to state that I'm a person of retail and understand that there a good days and bad days and that mistakes do happen. With that being said, I've never in my life encountered a company full of the rudest employees who literally have made mistake after mistake while dealing with my wedding party. It's a shame you want to charge $15 to have a brand new dress steamed that was completely wrinkled. No thanks, I will spend my money some place else.
