My daughter and I went Davids Bridal in Fresno CA about 6 months ago. The sales person and her manager Teresa Oaxaca insisted that the dress had to be ordered several months ahead of time. They performed measurements, and said the dress would fit and if it didn't that we could return the dress or have it altered. Yesterday my daughter and I went to get the dress altered per the sales persons recommendation and were told the dress couldn't be altered to fit and that it was now discontinued and couldn't be returned. Don't waste your time. You'll leave crying, feeling terrible about yourselves and your wallets. I did.
I went to this location in hopes of finding more options after visiting the David's Bridal in Mishawaka. However the consultant, Nancy, was very rude and unhelpful. She made an awkward inquiry about why the mother of the bride was not along for the trip and showed how unhappy she was about it. She also kept making references to the fact that she didn't have time to help us nor did we allow enough time to find a dress before our wedding date which is just under a year away. Me and my fiancee had a terrible experience at this store today. We came to the store for the first fitting today and when it came to the price they did not honor the price we we're given when we purchased the dress. The staff was no help in correcting the problem so we were literally was robbed without a gun. This left us very disappointed
To sum up David's bridal in one word....horrible! Despite the bad reviews I read I chose to keep my appointment there. I will say this place needs to find a different employee for the welcome desk! She was not welcoming at all. Several people walked in including myself and she never looked up from her clipboard to acknowledge that anyone was standing in front of her. Although we had an appointment to choose Maid of Honor, Bridesmaids dresses (which we purchased) and Mother of the Bride Dress (which we did not), we were abandoned by our consultant within less than 10 minutes, with the comment, "I have to go - I have a bride". Well. so did our party. OUR bride was there, having already purchased her wedding gown from David's. The first time I went to David's bridal and got my wedding dress I had an okay experience wasn't great but okay. My consultant keeping leaving me and my bridal party. Then I ordered my dress thinking I was getting the correct dress. I was wrong. I came back after they emailed me and said my dress had came in. I went to get it and the lady ordered the wrong dress... I was furious. Then on top of that they tried to tell me the dress I wanted was $100 more then what I paid for.
