Very disappointed with the way my daughter was treated! My daughter went in for a fitting months ago for a 8/30 wedding! She is pregnant and told that to the Salesperson! She is normally a size 0, but was told they don't carry 0's and should order a size 6 to account for the pregnancy, ( size 2 plus 2 sizes bigger recommended by David's). I have no idea how they determine what an expectant mother should order, but if they make a recommendation and a women doesn't gain excessive weight , they should be accountable! Horrible service! Do NOT get your dress altered here! They rob you of your money and then screw up on the alterations. One of my bridesmaids paid $200 for alterations and the dress only cost 190! They took it in too much, now instead of letting it out they took it in even more. No compensation is being given because they said her compensation is they did not charger her to let out the dress again. HORRIBLE!
A Seamstresses named "Mary (@David's Bridal - Greensboro, NC): Today I went to have my wedding dress altered. I walked in the store, feeling overwhelmed &sad because my mom was a seamstress for 27 years and all I could think about was if she was here she could alter my wedding dress. This store is horrific they suck a**! They are rude,nasty and so not helpful! They are not about helping customers they are about helping themselves! I wouldn't reccomend this place to a dog! You'll love david's bridal commercial is a damn lie! You'll hate david's bridal is more like it! I will never shop here again! If I could give it 0 stars I would have!
My daughter was a bridesmaid in her brother's wedding Friday night and the zipper broke on the back of the dress before she even walked down the aisle........thank God we had some quick thinking girls there who with a safety pin and duct tape (on the inside of the dress) were able to make it look like nothing happened....but boy we were in panic mode for a while. I was here today with my bridal party and received a poor excuse for service. We had just been at Alfredo Angelo where we received some of the greatest service I could have asked for and this was such a let down in comparison. We were there for an hour as per appointment and the consultant who was scheduled to take care of us ignored us for the two other brides she had there. Terrible customer service! I would give no stars if you could! When you walk in the person at the desk generally acts like she is too busy to walk you to the back and instead calls every other sales associate in the store to assist you, to which most of them tell her to call a different associate. When you finally do get in the back, there will be one person running like crazy helping a more than one person/group, so you can not always get the assistance you need. I received a bridesmaid dress in the mail today wadded up in a knot in a plastic bag. After spending as much money as I did on it, I would expect it to arrive nicely folded in a dress box at the very least. Very unimpressive David's Bridal. I won't recommend you to others.
