The room was large, very well appointed and attractive. Superb bed although we would prefer sheets and blankets to the duvet. Too warm for Summer. The food was very good and moderately priced. Del Lago is most certainly on our preference list when we are in the area.

No buffet will be why we would never come back alone, but they also have limited dining the week. If you stay during the week you are basically limited to a food court. Where you can enjoy as my wife and I did burgers served for two on a tray lined with paper! Casino dining at its finest. Sports book bar wasn’t any better they made sure they charged me for everything even though I was gambling but even forgot to bring my wife’s wine. Del Lago's hotel is there to service the casino. We were not there for the casino, so this might not really apply to other visitors. The elevators are only on one end of the hotel, not in the center of the hall as per normal. If you have higher number rooms, you will walk to get to the elevators or ice/vending. The room was nice enough. Beds weren't very comfortable, and outlets near the beds are at a premium. Bring extension cords if you have multiple devices to plug in, like CPAPs.
