CHEAP PARTS LOW QUALITY SHIPPING SLOW
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN, THEY TOOK MY $212.50 FOR A STEERING RACK THEY SAID THEY HAD IN STOCK OVER 1 MONTH AGO, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT, BETTER YET EVER TIME I CALL AND ASK WHERE IT IS THEY TELL ME THEY ARE WAITING FOR PARTS, WTF, THEY TOOK MY MONEY FOR A PRODUCT THEY NEVER HAD, I WILL BE WRITING THE ATTORNEY GENERAL ALSO, THANKS FOR NOTHING
Placed an order for a steering rack on 3/7/21...it is now 3/22/21 with no update. Every time I call customer service, they tell me someone will call me back or email. I've had to reach out four times and no response. Have to cancel my order and will not shop with Detroit Axle again unfortuantely.
The reviews you see about terrible customer service are completely accurate. They sent me the wrong part, when I reached out they claimed that’s what I ordered. In the response they also claim I can go ahead and use it to fit my vehicle anyways even though on their website it’s is NOT listed for my vehicle. Garbage company, DO NOT buy from them
This is the first time I have purchased anything from Detroit Axle and it will be the last. I ordered a Honda Civic HX rack and pinion from Detroit Axle on their website. The part arrived after 5 days (so much for shipping out the same day if the order in in by 11:00 AM). Once my original rack was removed it was obvious they shipped the wrong part. Sent wrong parts, poor customer service, they Don’t call back, don’t return e-mails ,they just don’t care, didn’t get my parts, didn’t get a refund I will never buy parts from them again
I was forced to give Detroit Axle a one star review however I would give give them a zero. I purchased A rack and pinion for my truck and not even three weeks after installation it began pouring fluid out on my fresh painted drive way. I saw mixed reviews on amazon where I ordered the product from but they were not terrible. I should have checked the reviews on google before making the decision to purchase. Very poor warranty service. They want 2x for shipping what UPS actually charges.
After having to pay $81 for replacement parts one of them had a broken weld wait some more any they don't even act like they care what a company
