The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the customer service rep (Jesse) was very pleasant and really did try to help. We have purchased several products from Detroit Axle and have never had any issues... until now. I did a customers rack, tie rods, and purchased parts from Detroit Axle - (tell all my customers how they have excellent parts and quick shipping) and still under warranty - failed. Ordered axel's from these guys on April 4th from the 4th to the 10th no communication from them I had to initiate contact on the 10th to find out what was going on with my order! Upon speaking to a representative I was told that there was a problem that was resolved and my order would be shipped within 24 hrs-ish and was content with that answer! I ordered a transmission for my 07 dodge ram. I got less than 1 year out of it. I called to have it replaced because they have a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty. After receiving the next transmission and contacting them about about paying the labor. They told me to much time had passed by and they weren't paying any labor. Meanwhile I find out that the transmission they had sent back was the original one I sent and it hasn't been rebuilt. So now I have labor for putting in a junk transmission that was never rebuilt. I ordered these bearings last year and installed them. They started making noise and it hasn’t been a year yet. I stop with a “Juan”, and he telling me I have to get an invoice to do a warranty claim. I asked we would be covering all this extra labor money? I paid to have it installed (made sure they torqued everything), I have to pay to have someone recheck it, get an invoice, send it in, and have to pay to get those reinstalled. I send this review with sadness. I have been a customer for 10 years. I bought a 8 pc. set of front/rear complete struts & links. After I was told they fit the 2000 Lexus ES300, the links did not fit so I was out the money for that, then the rear struts were defective. I called and got the around 3 times to only be sent to Charles who was great. To be told there is a 10 yr warranty but I would have to pay $92 for shipping.
