I bought a few parts that ended up did not fitting my vehicle, which is on me, not on Detroit Axle. However, when I went to email their team about possibly exchanging or returning my order, I did not receive a response. I sent another email a week later, again with no response. Now I am looking at their customer support page once again, but now their page says I can only return items if I contact them within 30 days of receiving my items. Detroit axle will not ship orders within same day before 2. Also you will not receive the order in 2 days. They use fed ex and you might as well pay the extra money and get the parts local, or off of Rock auto and select ups shipping. Most of these parts are chinese garbage anyhow.
Be careful with purchasing remanufactured brake calipers. I am a first-time customer that ordered rear pads/rotors, plus rear driver brake caliper. Pads/rotors were delivered on time. The remanufactured brake caliper was delayed, and getting accurate information about my order status was not good. It seems their customer service has a standard response..."Your online order status should update within 24-48 hours." I do not recommend buying anything from this company. They sent me defective parts and will not let me return them unless a give them a "detailed mechanic report." Should be able to return anything I want.
Detroit axle is a joke! I ordered a part and a week later it still was not shipped to me. i called and spoke to several employees and they had no clue where my part was. Finally after being fed up i called 3 times to make sure my order was cancelled. The product had not even left the facility by the time i spoke to 3 different people for cancellation and come to find out the cancellations were not even processed. Another report about the suspension kit. All the rubber seals were slid off and didn’t have any retaining clips to hold the rubber seals on.
Ordered a suspension kit, didn’t receive everything that was suppose to come in the kit and after emailing almost a week ago, I haven’t got a response.
shipping is horribly slow and no communication or updates. ordered on 1/20 and its now 1/24 and I have no idea where my parts are. keep them... i won't be paying this bill.
