The company lied to me before I ordered the parts. They said on the phone the parts were made in the USA. Nope box says made in China. This review is after my first review after it took 6 days to get the parts. They lied about time of shipping and never even told me it would be 6 days not two. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

NOT EVEN ONE STAR FOR Detroit Axle. 2 DAY SHIPPING. WHAT A JOKE. I RECEIVED HALF OF MY PARTS. THE OTHER PARTS ARE COMING FROM TEXAS. SO NOW I WILL NOT HAVE MY PARTS FOR 5 DAYS. IF YOU TOLD ME 5 DAYS I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT MY PARTS LOCAL. ALSO IF YOU WOULD HAVE ASKED ME TO PAY SHIPPING SO I CAN HAVE MY IN 2 DAYS I WOULD HAVE. I have bought many items from this seller with no problems; however I was just stolen from on a return! the ordered pads and rotors were the wrong size. we opened the package but did not install...when they received my return this seller deducted a hefty fee ( stole) from me. I will no longer do business with Detroit axle and I urge all buyers to beware...

So far I am totally unhappy! I placed my order early on 2/18/25 online, called 2 hours later to change the ship to address. That went fine. On 2/19/25, i called to check the status as it showed it didn't ship. The rept tells me it was shipping on 2/19 and was going to text me the shipping number. I never got that text. Today, 2/20/25, the status is still listed as processing. and I don't see any tracking number. They state 2 day shipping, but that is no help if you have to wate 2-3 days for it to leave the warehous... read more

I bought a few parts that ended up did not fitting my vehicle, which is on me, not on Detroit Axle. However, when I went to email their team about possibly exchanging or returning my order, I did not receive a response. I sent another email a week later, again with no response. Now I am looking at their customer support page once again, but now their page says I can only return items if I contact them within 30 days of receiving my items. I contacted the team, but they never contacted me back, so I am stuck selling the part... read more

Detroit axle will not ship orders within same day before 2. Also you will not receive the order in 2 days. They use fed ex and you might as well pay the extra money and get the parts local, or off of Rock auto and select ups shipping. Most of these parts are chinese garbage anyhow.

Be careful with purchasing remanufactured brake calipers. I am a first-time customer that ordered rear pads/rotors, plus rear driver brake caliper. Pads/rotors were delivered on time. The remanufactured brake caliper was delayed, and getting accurate information about my order status was not good. It seems their customer service has a standard response..."Your online order status should update within 24-48 hours."
