I do not recommend this animal clinic. There have been changes to staff recently and the quality of care has taken a huge dip. I gave them honest feedback while there and they came back with absurd suggestions and mean spirited policies. Please take both feral and pet cats/dogs somewhere else. They deserve better treatment and so do you! The new management is horrible.

I got my dogs shots done here, when giving the shots they somehow messed up something in her leg.. where they injected the shot. I called to see if they could look at it since they are the reason theres an issue, they wanted to charge me $100 for an exam to check out her leg even though they were at fault for her injury.

Business response:

We take your feedback seriously and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your concerns in more detail. Unfortunately, we are unable to identify you as a client based on the account name this review is posted from though, so we kindly ask that you give us a call at your convenience. Our exams are $79 and our emergency visits are $130, I am interested to find out who you spoke to about a $100 exam. Sometimes when patients get vaccinated, they can be sore for a day or so. I hope your pet is feeling better and I look forw... read more

I have several issues with this place. I would not recommend it to ANYONE and I would not return. From the office staff to the Vet Dr. Padilla I found them not transparent, nor caring. They literally charged 3X mark up on all medication they "advised" my dog needed. He did not come back with any diagnosis, but he did come back with an almost $400 bill. Because we could not discuss in person with the vet given the we are in lock down due to Cornavirus I reached out via phone and found the doctor to be less than helpful. Her... read more

I found it more than challenging to be heard at this clinic. I shared with three people I did not want a procedure to be done that would result in my cat wearing an elizabethan collar. When explaining this to the vet and staff I used an example of not putting a drain in her. I requested her abscess be shaved and cleaned. I received an estimate of somewhere around $800. I did not read the actual written estimate details thinking it would represent our conversation - my mistake. I explained it would be a large problem to have ... read more

Really wish I had read reviews before going here. Today My dog was scheduled for surgery to remove a cyst that ruptured earlier this week and as I have read on another review they would not open door for me urging drop off time. I took my little guy to a different vet who said he wouldn't remove it at this time do to it being horribly infected. He then cleaned up the puss and cleaned it up. It was infected when I went to East lake tho they were not able to do this. My dog also has a heart murmur and East Lake insist he go un... read more

Business response:

Michelle, we take our client feedback very seriously and are sorry to hear you feel this way. We can assure you that your pup was shown nothing but the best care while with us. Unfortunately, you did arrive before your scheduled drop off time and we were not open to check you and your pup in. We did in fact clip and clean the infected area and sent home antibiotics. After our doctor noticed the heart murmur, we did perform radiographs and a cardiologist review, who confirmed that anesthesia was safe. We kindly ask that you g... read more

Took our 15 year old cat in because she suffered an injury to her mouth and lost a lot of weight from not eating. Xrays showed she had a broken jaw. Rather than being honest with us (15 year old cat plus an extremely expensive surgery that she probably wouldn't survive) they preyed on my wife's emotions and said she could be saved. Sold us $50 worth of weight gaining food, plus charges us $400 to bring her vaccinations up to date and another $100 for painkillers. Our cat died the next day after we gave her the painkillers th... read more

For shots they are not bad. However, I did not agree with the doctor's opinions about about how to treat my dog. I felt my dog was overly sedated, especially when he was only getting a bandage change. The doctor was not very friendly because she didn't seem sympathetic with all the charges they were adding on, and she told me the next time they would charge me more! Every time I went to them they charged me more than what I initially asked what I would be charged!
