False promises and no communication. Reached out as I had read great things about the company and was greeted with pleasantries and promises of no issues in getting two vehicles shipped from ***** to Washington. Was quoted a great price on the 29th and an expectation that even though it was near the New Year's that this would happen within a few days, could even expedite if wanted to but again was told not to worry. I wouldn't recommend it. The agent failed to secure the first driver on time, and the second driver wasn't confirmed until just before the final shipping day, resulting in an additional $100 fee due to the agent's error. Moreover, I had to initiate contact daily to get updates on the booking status. The agent's attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, pressuring me to pay the extra fee to ensure the second driver.The pickup went well, but the delivery process was fraught with issues. They were supposed to pick up the vehicle in late November and deliver it to an auto repair shop I use. I gave Easy Auto Ship the days and hours the shop would be open. The driver arrived ON THANKSGIVING DAY! My friend had to interrupt his family Thanksgiving dinner and drive 20 miles to meet him, help load the truck, then drive 20 miles back. Autoship ( broker) was terrific however when my car was turned over to ********transport we were very dissappointed. The delivery time was changed 4 times and the only reason we were aware was because we called a half dozen times. Never once did we receive a text or call independently from ******** (*******) letting us know the times were changed. I found them very unprofessional and unreliable. Ask Auto ship which transport company they are using for your car! Do not go with ********.
Used other car transport companies and this one blows the others away
My vehicle was damaged moving from MA to ***** to a repair shop, as I was moving back to ***** as well I wasn't able to immediately able to see the vehicle within 24 hours, the shop it was delivered to did take pictures proving the damage was done during transportation yet Easy Auto is refusing to repair the damage. Very bad customer service and would not recommend.
Never again. This company guaranteed a delivery date verbally and in writing, and didn't start looking for a driver until it was way too late to meet that delivery date. This company communicated nothing about the guaranteed delivery date to the driver. Even the driver told me I should have gone with another company.
they lie. they do not ship your car themselves. they are middlemen. once you give them your deposit they advertise to any transport driver out there that want the job, and that driver is who you pay in cash only. I got a very unscrupulous driver who damaged my car and forged my signature on a post inspection form. I complained to Easy Auto Ship who said "we are not liable, you have to deal with the driver's insurance" the driver had no insurance. He was a fraud. I could not collect from the driver or Easy Auto Ship.
We did get our car...but it was Not Easy. The communication wasn't great. The pick up was days tardy, so we had to change our plans to accommodate. We shipped from East coast near DC to outside ******* **, so lots of room for traffic etc. where communication on delivery is key. We paid to have it sent to our new home, and then were 'asked if OK to only take to X location - 1 hour further away from our home'.
