There wasn’t anywhere to eat.
This is my first time staying at the Eldorado for the Wing Festival and I did not have the best experience. The bed sheets were dirty, one of the couch pillows had lipstick stains all over it, and the room smelt sooo bad (cigarettes) and what was even worse was I was not able to open up the windows to air out the room (No access or ability to open the windows). After making the reservation, I reached out to the front desk to let them know it was a special occasion, I put in a few different requests but no acknowledgements whatsoever! reserved a king bed but when we go to the front desk she gave us 2 queens and said she had no other rooms! No DND sign in the room! 5am comes and I was trying to make coffee- coffee pot was broken! Housekeeping had to bring another one up. This room is small for 400 dollars, wast of money, i would rather sleep in my car .
Air conditioner does not keep room cool. We sweat every night. Thermostat is set to 60 and it’s got to be over 80 in the room. Opening the door doesn’t help because the hallway is just as hot.
The good was the easy check-in. After the check-in everything went downhill. Customer service is terrible and their security guards don’t do anything but pick fights with children that have disabilities. Not very happy and will not stay here for future visits. One word describes it. Terrible!
This hotel sticks to the check in time. Wanted to charge $75 to check in 50 minutes early. Staff waited around just standing there waiting for people to line up to check in at the proper time. We’ve never experienced that and won’t be returning to this property.
