poor staff and service.
It was going very well, nice room, lots of ice makers, walk in shower, easy check in kiosks, decent bed, clean room, and then it happened. We requested and paid for a late 4pm checkout. Then at 310 we tried to get into our room to pack and leave for our 415 train. The keys were disabled, the line for the front desk was 6 people deep. It's hard to compete when this part of town is not. Rebuild the Harold's property. Remove the "campers."
Very disappointed!!! Will never stay here again. Terrible check in. Long line to check in and only one person working. Paid for a one king bed room and was given two queen beds instead. Said we got bumped down. Very unacceptable!! Alway stayed at GSR and thought we try something different. Never again!! Back to GSR for now on.
Prepaid room and many issues at check-in. Had to spend one night at the hotel without a room and then the reservation was canceled since I had not checked in. Had to get another reservation the next night.
Not friendly employees. They do not help you let alone go out of their way for you. Table games minimum was too expensive. Weekend evenings turned into obnoxious underage intoxicated juveniles. Homeless walking around asking for money (inside the resort). Would never stay there again
The room was dated, Everything was in poor condition. It doesn’t warrant $260.00 per night.
Be prepared to be ripped off. For example, buy a drink and it will not only cost double the norm, but they tag on an extra $6 for a "double bump". I asked what that is and the response was, "all our drinks have a double-shot. The problem with that is that I ordered a martini. There is nothing to double unless you increase the size of the drink - which they didn't.
